Before and after brassy to blonde haircolor

Look at this before pic of brassy haircolor and after of transformed blonde hair. Take a look at this retired teacher, wife, and busy women whom was ready for her transformation. She wanted to get rid of her roots, brassiness in color that had grown out over about 8+ weeks (to long) and needed her haircut freshened up.

brassy to blonde hair

Client of Kimberly’s at Indulge Salon, York Pa has her hair transformed from dark brassy to gorgeous blonde hair.

We initially consulted about the color and we collaborated on a lower maintenance haircolor. Over the summer she had enjoyed being super blonde but was ready for the toned down blonde look.  Because she was naturally dark that usually would pull some “warmth” we had to neutralize that nautiness in her hair tones plus working with old overgrowth highlights that were out over 2″. Her highlights were already light which can be a challenge when trying to lift the darker hair up to the dark blonde shades. Naturally, she wanted to tone down her hair for the fall looks. As a hairstylist, this situation can be a little “hairy”. As you can see, we were able to achieve her beautiful toned down blonde without the yellow brassy shade and gave her haircut an updated shape that was crafted for her faceshape and lifestyle.
