AFTER back facial treatments 3 months of specific acneic treatments. 6 months

Imagine how your teen feels when they look in the mirror and see this? Suffering from acne, cysts, blackheads, boils under the skin? Most teens have been youtube guided into how to take care of their skin. Even of they were by mom and dad, they probably wouldn’t take their advice right?

How long does it take to clear up acne, cysts or clogged pores?

As long as it takes for your teenager to adopt to new habits in skin care such as cleansing with the correct cleanser. I can’t tell you how many times as a teenager I was using the same cleanser my grandmother was using. We customize the cleanser that will actually give you the clean feeling that you love to have. The next item is what we call a toner lotion. This will keep the skin clean from bacteria day while at school, sports, or at home. Can be used as often as they think about it. When your teenager feels like their face is on fire, we can calm that down daily with the corrective home maintenance along with your teen’s ability to manage the home care properly. We will be coaching them to wash their sheets 2x per week, their pillow cases every other day (mom buy more please to make your life easier), clean bath towel and wash towel daily. We will show your teen how to wash their face, how to cleanse properly and use the products we recommend. We are your back up support. You and I both know our teens never listen to their parents. We got your back mom and dad.

While your teenager is learning to cleanse their skin day and night while using the lotion, we will teach your teen to follow up in the a.m. with a blemish control lotion that fights off bad bacteria yet protecting the skin with a slight barrier. Lastly, we highly recommend using a spf of 15 – 30 to protect skin from UVA and UVB rays daily.

At night we will recommend a thorough cleansing before going to bed, toning lotion and utilizing advamced skin care such as Rhonda Allison skin care. We can add additional growth serum to help those cells turnover quicker which helps the older cells slough off quicker getting to the fresh cells. It was over a year now that I have experienced my hair shedding into the brush, the floor of the bathroom, the shower and onto my clothes. I would feel a wisp of hair on my arm while I was working at the computer only to discover it was my HAIR shedding. I knew there had to be a solution or I was trending toward a balding head!

When we are younger, we moisturize with creams and lotions. As we age, we are more concerned about whether we have the potential of falling taking a step out of bed. How do I know that? I asked my clients what their greatest fear was. It wasn’t dry skin, it was the fear of falling. Older people have lost the confidence to once do what they used to do no matter if their mind is sharp as a tack. The last think they are thinking about is their dry crepe skin.

3 best ways to prevent crepey skin

Skin loses elasticity as we age because of dehydration and other factors. There’s no way to completely avoid crepey skin, but there are a few ways to delay it.

1. Stick to the shade. The most important thing to do, says Dr. Kassouf is to stay out of the sun as much as possible. Also, protect your skin when you’re in the sun with a hydrating sun skin.
2. Make skin hydration a priority. Keeping skin well-hydrated with a good moisturizer helps prevent injury that creates or worsens crepiness.
3. Pay attention to ingredients. Make sure your moisturizer contains alpha or beta hydroxy acids, such as salicylic acid, lactic acid or glycolic acid. These products lubricate and plump the skin, helping reduce that crepey appearance, Dermatologist, Dr. Amy Kassouf says. We persoally recommend our Indulge Pure Originals oatmeal soap that is gentle enough to exfoliate plus moisturizing attributes such as goats milk that still cleanses without the dryness.

Older skin gets dry, flaky kind of like a sun burn that is peeling, only it’s DRY SKIN. If they live alone, it’s difficult to wash their backs to exfoliate on their own.  Using a dry brush on skin is essential to slough off the dry flakes daily. 1. still in the shower apply AFTER you have washed your body and still wet with warm water. Massage into your skin then hop out of shower and PAT dry only to lock in.
2. at the sink, warm your hands with warm water then hold the lotion bar under warm water to soften lotion bar then APPLY DIRECTLY onto the wet skin. Massage into the dry areas. Pat dry.
3. in the warm bath water when rinsing off. Hold the lotion bar under the warm water to soften then apply directly to the entire body. Massage the lotion into your skin then pat dry only.

that her birthday is in August. I bet when she is older she will be doing the same thing. When I mean older, we mean 80’s or 90’s. By then she can have her birthday everyday if she wants.

My point is that everyday is someone’s birthday. We never made a birthday in our house a big deal when I was little yet I secretly wanted a birthday party. Last year, my staff surprised me with a birthday party at the salon with friends, clients, staff and family. I was shocked and they were too because they sneakily had this planned with my nurses at the house , the rest of the team, my family whom had either driven in or flown in to be part of the surprise. Let’s just say when I arrived that I was in the middle of my intense work day from home and I wasn’t looking cute like I do for work at the salon. My hair wasn’t done, my makeup wasn’t done, I was still in my pj’s with zero undergarments. I mean I was up early trying to get my day underway. I certainly didn’t think I was to be arriving at my own birthday party.

              Surprise birthday party!

One of my team members, Chasta Strouse came over to pick up some things and asked if I was getting a shower? Odd that she would ask me about that but I blew if off and then I received an emergency call to come to the salon which of course I did. It was great! I did keep my coat on because  you know why!

The point is a birthday party makes you feel the love from family and friends. I never expected anything. They had beverages, cake with lots of icing, presents, and just lots of hugs. It was a great birthday.

The best birthday gifts are those that really mean something to the person that is receiving. My grandmother always gave me gifts that she would like herself.
