Welcome to the world of Indulge – a Colour Salon 180º Degrees from Ordinary™ – and home to our exclusive line of body care products called Indulge Pure Originals™, as well as our newest venture, Indulge Luxury Imports™.
When I first got involved in this fascinating business, I attended beauty school as a means to pay for a business degree. I wanted to be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. After working for some really great salons, however, I saw a missing link in the beauty industry – and visualized Indulge. I wanted to take the specialty of hair color to a completely new level of expertise.
So I studied everywhere and when I could – in the U.S. (even Alaska) and Europe – to learn more defined techniques in the art of color correction. I mastered blonding so I could produce specific shades, tints and highlights without the damage that can sometimes occur. In fact today I absolutely love fixing orange brassy hair. Bring it on!
I’ve also been taught by the best in the French and Japanese haircutting systems, as well as French Balayage Highlights (which essentially means hair painting). And when it comes to hair extensions I think we are unsurpassed.
Along the way I’ve had some great experiences. . .competing in a Fastest Foiling contest in L.A.. . .personally working with celebrity style-maker Frederic Fekkai in New York City on advance coloring techniques (yes, he’s that gorgeous in person!) . . .taking art classes to fine-tune my own color perceptions. I’m also proud of the fact I’ve been featured in Modern Salon Magazine and Sophisticate’s Hairstyleguide.
Our success is nurtured by continuing education for every member of the Indulge team. We’ve flown in educators and renowned stylists from Paris, Scotland, Canada, Atlanta and New York. Plus I personally train each Indulge team member, honing every technique from the shampoo sink to custom designing color solutions, and testing to ensure each step is fully mastered.

My passion is socializing. You will see me buzzing around talking to everyone, making them feel comfortable. If you need something to eat or drink, want to make an appointment or enjoy a great conversation. . .that’s me! I’m the life of the party.
I love doing everything from answering phones to applying hair color to helping out where needed, at both York Salons.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading and shopping.
Hi my name is Chasta.
A stylist for over 10 years, I have extensive experience in hair color, cutting and hair extensions. I love helping people who know what they need to achieve their vision, as well as people who are looking for a change but are not sure what they are looking for.
Clients with really thick hair enjoy my haircuts because I specialize in removing bulk so the hair moves and feels wonderful. I can turn short hair into long flowing hair with a touch of my magic in hair extensions. I’ve mastered both French and Japanese haircutting techniques, studying with J Beverly Hills, Jamison Shaw and our own Master Stylist Kimberly Acworth.
I’ve also taken classes in creative and personalized hair color with Tigi, Wella and Goldwell, and relaxer classes with L’Oreal. I enjoy learning new skills and believe by constantly furthering and updating my education I can help keep my clients a step ahead.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family.
My name is Glen
My friends know me as Glen Coco. I am a stylist at Indulge Salon. I’ve completed my Cosmetology training at Aveda Institute in Philadelphia, and am extremely excited to rejoin the Indulge team.
Aside from my ongoing education with master stylist/colorist Kimberly Ackworth, I’ve attended advanced cutting classes at the Graham Webb Academy in D.C., multiple color classes with L’Oréal Professionnel, blonding classes with Jennifer MacDougall, who’s been awarded North American’s Hair Colorist of the Year, and advanced Bohemian creative cutting with Sharon So, the Creative Director for Bubbles Hair Salons.
Education will never come to a halt for me. I enjoy learning new cutting and color techniques. I love making beautiful haircuts coincide with magnificent and brilliant hair color. My expertise is combining two or more basic haircutting techniques to create a different haircut for each client – that goes hand and hand with their specific styling routine. I’ve mastered every hair texture from extremely curly to very fine.
When I’m not at work, I like to spend my time taking road trips, spending time with family and friends, trying out new restaurants, and of course watching the latest movies.

Hi I’m Kelsey
I attended beauty school in Elizabethtown (KY), about a 30-minute drive from Louisville, and moved to York when I got married. You could say I’m one of the newest members of the Indulge team.
As a salon coordinator I make appointments, shampoo hair, and am currently in training with Kimberly to learn everything about the Indulge Signature Colours and blonding techniques as well as the French Haircutting system. I love working with clients, especially when I get to cut and colour hair, and design styles for long hair. So if you have long hair call me and I will give you lots of ideas!
When you call the salon, you’ll know it’s me because of my bubbly southern accent.
On my off hours I relax and enjoy reading the Twilight series and other books of that nature. I also love spending time with my husband, sitting outside and enjoying the nice weather.
Hello! I’m Linda
and I’ve worked for the salon since it was Kimberly’s Image Salon & Day Spa.
We updated our brand to Indulge with new concepts and I’ve been here since then. Twelve years!
I work at Indulge part time in the evenings, usually making new flavors of coffee for our clients, answering phones, making appointments for the year and just having a good time. I know how to “wave my magic wand” if you need an appointment because I can get you in, especially the boss’s schedule! ,
I also participate in training all of our newer team members on front desk systems and keep the boss in line occasionally.
During my own time I love spoiling my grandchildren and taking them places. I love romantic movies.
My name is Priscilla
and I am an esthetician, cosmetologist and stylist at Indulge. I enjoy working with all types of people, helping them transform their concept of how they want to look into reality.
I particularly enjoy working with professional men and women, working with them to create a look that suits every aspect of their lives.
I love creating shorter cuts. They are fun, funky and sexy! There are so many ways to go with the shorter cuts, and adding colour is the extra *wow* that finishes the look.
In addition, I offer full body waxing for both men and women and can help women complete their look with the latest make-up.
I enjoy staying current with the best professional educators in the business and have trained with Jamison Shaw in Atlanta (GA), Musaki at J Beverly Hills in Arlington (VA), and Indulge Master Stylist Kimberly Acworth.
My goal in life is to be a wonderful and successful parent. My hobbies are spending time with friends and family, snowboarding and biking.
